After deciding not to attend the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), the college I attended right after high school graduation, I started taking classes at the County College of Morris (CCM).
While I was taking course work at CCM, I worked full-time in exterior contracting and construction. During summers, I worked 70 to 90 hours a week. During the semesters, I still worked 40 hours a week taking advantage of night classes.
My course work included a lot of sociology, psychology, behavioral sciences, and politics. Although I had a strong interest in psychology, I didn't want to listen to everyone's problems all day in an office, so I was focused on going to law school.
